Why are there variances in the kibble appearance?

We do not use any artificial colours in the diets. As a result, there can be a variation of kibble colour. Colours and dyes are used to mask the natural colors and give a consistent color. As with many things in nature, there are subtle changes in ingredients based upon geography and seasonality. This is common in human foods such as meats or vegetables. While a small variation exists, all diets must meet the highest of quality standards nutritional before they are released to the market place.
